A counter for unagi, a fire for skewers — in the heart of Tsukiji Outer Market.

築地うなぎ食堂 is operated by にっしん太助 — a specialist in charcoal-grilled freshwater eel and assorted seafood skewers. Built for the rhythm of the outer market: order, stand, eat, go.

The bowls — メガうな丼 and ギガうな重 — are the headline. The skewers, threaded and grilled to order, are the everyday ritual. There is no theatre here beyond the fire itself.
